Botanical styling for Bordeaux apartments

Seasonal Styling Across the Year

Seasonal styling is the rhythm that ties indoor greenery, windows, courtyards, and dried work into one apartment story. We visit on a calendar that follows Bordeaux light, not fashion weeks.

Four touchpoints, not constant churn

Most flats need four deliberate refreshes: spring leaf, summer outdoor push, autumn drying, winter quiet. Between those dates we leave care notes so clients are not rearranging weekly.

A full-year seasonal plan for a typical two-bedroom apartment starts at €1,600 including four visits; plant stock is billed as used.

Balconies above the Garonne glare

West-facing balconies cook terracotta by late June. We shift to lighter pots, add afternoon shade cloth only where railings allow, and pull tender herbs indoors before heat spikes.

Specimen note — June balcony, Chartrons quay side: basil moved to morning rail, lavender held in deeper clay against wind.

Holiday apartments and short stays

Owners who rent weekends need compositions that survive guest watering mistakes. We favour hardy indoor greens plus one dried centrepiece and hide spare care cards in a kitchen drawer.

Coordinating with painters and joiners

When renovations land in spring, we schedule plant installation after dust settles. A holding fee of €60 keeps reserved stock at the studio for up to three weeks.

Photographing rooms for listings

Estate agents sometimes ask for a one-day botanical dress before photography. That service is €380 for a half-day styling pass with rented vessels returned afterward.
